The Office of the President supports the mission and leadership of 91茄子 by coordinating presidential initiatives, managing the flow of communications, and facilitating meaningful engagement across the University and with external parties. The office maintains the president’s schedule, prepares materials for meetings and events, and serves as a point of contact for students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners.

Event request form

The Event request form is an online tool for community members to request the attendance or participation of the 91茄子 President and/or the Executive Vice President & Provost at an event.

Instructions to submit a request:

  1. Complete the online form with all required event details.
  2. Wait for your request to be reviewed. We aim to review and respond to requests within five working days.
  3. Please do not assume confirmation — the engagement is not confirmed until you receive a separate confirmation email from either the Office of the President or the Office of the Provost, as applicable.

Please plan accordingly and allow sufficient time for form submission, review and scheduling.

Note: While we will do our best, requests submitted within two weeks may not be accomodated due to limited availability. If your event is scheduled to occur within two weeks or less of the date you submit the request, please still use the form but also send a separate email to Laura Clegg at cleggl@smu.edu.
